Shredder Lake was built on the belief that time on the water should be better.

In 1999, Ray Lynott purchased the land with a clear vision. After years of navigating crowded public lakes and seeing the risks that come with heavy traffic and unpredictable conditions, especially for families and younger skiers, he set out to create a more controlled, private environment.

By 2002, Shredder Lake was established.

Designed for consistency, safety, and space, the lake offers an alternative to the typical public water experience. Fewer people, better conditions, and more time actually spent skiing.

That philosophy still guides everything today.

Shredder Lake remains focused on providing a more intentional experience on the water, one built around quality, not crowds.
